Jesi and Ross were married at South Bay Bed and Breakfast near Bellingham, Washington. Both avid mountaineers, the bride and groom carried this theme throughout their wedding. A Celtic band played at the reception, and extraordinary dancing ensued.
Vanessa & Chris tied the knot at McMenamins Cornelius Pass Roadhouse last weekend. We went to college with both of them. Lindsey and Vanessa lived in the dorms together, and Chris played football. It’s been a number of years since we’ve seen them. We had a great time catching up on such a happy occasion.
Emily and Drew had a totally rad wedding. The ceremony and reception were at Bethany Vineyards in Ridgefield, Washington. It was a gorgeous day with a bride and groom to match.
Drew and I were buddies in High School and used to ride mountain bikes together. We met Emily at another friends wedding we photographed last January up at the Silcox Hut on Mount Hood. Emily and Drew are incredibly sweet people, and we’re so happy they found each other.
Here are a few pics from Miranda + Jeff’s wedding yesterday. They got married at Kilworth Chapel and then had their reception at Fircrest Golf Club.
Leaving the chapel with bubbles + rain.
Today Lindsey and I had the pleasure of being both photographers and witnesses at the wedding of some friends of ours. The only people present were the bride & groom, the officiant, and us. We were thrilled to be part of their very unique wedding experience and wish them happiness in the years ahead.
On Saturday I joined photographer, Ron Henry, to shoot Monique + Travis’ wedding. We started at Blessed Sacrament, a beautiful Catholic church over by UW. Then we headed over to the Seattle Tennis Club for the reception.
The whole wedding day went very smoothly. It was planned/coordinated by Katy Griffiths with VOWS Wedding Planning & Design.
Monique and Travis looked like they were having a great time. They were really cute together, and were a fun pair to photograph.
Lindsey and I are parents! Last Thursday our son, Avery, was born. He weighed 8 pounds 13 ounces and was 20 inches long. This last week has been magical for both Lindsey and I. We’ve managed to take a few pictures along the way 😉
Right after Avery came out the surgeon put him over the curtain so Mommy and I could see him. The moment only lasted a second, and through all the tears this blurry image is pretty much how we remember it.
Misty & Chris picked the perfect day in January to have a wedding at Newcastle. No rain. No snow. Not a cloud in the sky. It was spectacular.
Ron Henry, one of Seattle’s most talented photographers joined me. Thanks for coming out Ron!
Yesterday I shot my first wedding for 2007. Outside it was only 29 degrees and ice covered the streets and sidewalks of Bellingham. Inside, the Majestic was filled with twinkling lights and the warmth of family and friends. It was a great celebration.
